Samuel Kidd is a senior at the University of Michigan studying vocal performance under the tutelage of Freda Herseth. He was named a winner of the 2016-2017 University of Michigan Undergraduate Concerto Competition, as well as the 2017 University Friends of Opera Competition. He has participated in several operas at the University, including Giulio Cesare, Roméo et Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Dinner at Eight. In addition to Audivi, Samuel also sings with the choral ensemble Sounding Light.
